Joyful learning,
Nature connection,
Confident kids.
Spending time in nature helps kids grow into their best selves— confident, capable, and connected to the world around them. Our classes invite parents, grandparents and other guardians, along with their kids, to joyfully explore the outdoors together in a farm setting, guided by curiosity, sensory learning, and hands-on discovery.
From gardening and animal care to open-ended nature play, each experience fosters real-world skills, a deeper understanding of where food comes from, and a true sense of belonging in nature.

- Our Mission -
Our mission is to build a vibrant community where children feel at home in nature, gain confidence through hands-on experiences, and develop a deep understanding of where their food comes from.
- Teacher Avital -

Avital’s favorite childhood memories center around the natural world– catching grasshoppers with her brother, rock hopping over icy water, climbing trees as high as possible, and loving all insects and animals intensely. During a week-long outdoor education program in elementary school, she felt the immense power of nature and has woven outdoor connection into her life since then.
Through her experience working at summer camps, outdoor adventure programs, nature connection projects, and farms, Avital has cultivated a passion for hands-on education, community building, and helping people connect with the outdoors. She loves working with kids because of their enthusiasm and curiosity, and believes it is important for people of all ages to remember to practice childlike joy.
With a degree in Psychology and Brain Sciences from University of California, Santa Barbara, she is especially interested in how connection with nature affects people’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. She’s seen firsthand how slowing down and paying attention to the natural world changes people. In addition to all things outdoors, Avital loves trying new things, writing songs, and making art.
